Access to quality education and economic opportunities can only create lasting change when communities are empowered to understand, claim, and protect their rights. In many rural communities, limited awareness of legal rights, gender inequalities, weak civic participation, and inadequate access to essential services continue to hinder social progress. Our Advocacy & Rights Programme works to address these challenges by equipping individuals and communities with the knowledge, skills, and platforms needed to engage in decision-making processes, influence policies, and hold institutions accountable.

Through this programme, we promote gender equality, civic participation, environmental stewardship, and social inclusion. We provide community-based health rights education, support initiatives that prevent and respond to gender-based violence and strengthen citizen engagement in governance and public resource allocation. We also build community capacity on climate resilience and environmental justice while leveraging sport as a powerful tool for youth engagement, leadership development, and social cohesion. By empowering communities to become informed and active citizens, we help create a more inclusive, equitable, and accountable society where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
